About NOT

Neural Organisation Technique is a comprehensive holistic health care system developed by Dr Carl Ferreri. NOT integrates low force Chiropractic spinal care, Sacro Occipital Technique [SOT] concepts, Applied Kinesiology [AK] principles and testing, together with holistic health approaches from Western and Eastern Science in an evidenced based, contemporary neuroscience framework.

The collective aim of NOT is to restore your Nervous System health to facilitate energy efficient self regulation of your key body functions. Ensuring your survival systems of feeding, fight/flight, reproduction and immune health can be engaged as required. Modern life often “pushes” us toward a state of “Sympathetic Dominance” with our fight/flight responses engaged persistently depleting our ability to regulate sufficient daily energy and digestive health.

NOT is designed to identify neural disorganisation caused by your body’s unresolved adaptation to common stressors such as physical injury, emotional stress and biochemical challenge. The NOT protocols explore your nervous system health through a series of spine health and brain health checks. The spine health/brain health checks review your functional status in relation to the specific situations of injury/challenge, postural distortion/biomechanical instability as well as the differing neuro physiological events of daytime and night time.

Our online courses will enable you to learn and understand the NOT system in the comfort of your own home, at your pace. The course has a theory/how to/why to component and a practical only section both of which you can complete online.

On completion of your course, an online questionnaire, successfully completed, provides you with certification and continuing education credits approved in Australia and most states in the United States of America.

Dr Simon Carlin is a graduate of RMIT in Melbourne. He is the Principle and Director of Carlin Chiropractic in Cottesloe, Perth. Dr Carlin is passionate about NOT and travelled to New York to study with Dr Carl Ferreri. He was certified to as an instructor in 1995. He has given numerous workshops and seminars and has 29 years experience in NOT, family chiro care, clinical procedures, student and clinic coaching procedures.

DR JULIE RUSSELL-CLARK

Dr Julie Russell Clark was educated in Canada, Switzerland and graduated from AECC in 1983. Trained by Dr Carl Ferreri in London, Paris and New York from May 1984 to May 1991, she studied under his instruction and was certified by him in 1988 as an instructor of NOT. She gave her first NOT seminar in Feb 1988 in Perth. She has been the principle chiropractor in several hills clinics since 1992. She is now manager of Helena Valley Chiropractic, a 100% NOT practice.

DR ANDREW KNIGHT

Dr Andrew Knight graduated from RMIT in 1991. Dr Knight has been an NOT chiropractor for over 25 years and is a Module 1 and 2 certified NOT Australasia Instructor. Dr Andrew Knight has done extensive training in Sacro-Occipital Technique and NOT. He works specifically with NOT and has set up Ascending Health, a practice in South Melbourne. Dr Knight will be teaching in Auckland in 2020 at the Calder Clinic in Browns Bay.

DR REZA SAMVAT D.C.

Dr Reza Samvat graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic (USA) in 1991 as a Chiropractor. He is the principal Chiropractor at NIIM on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Chiropractic techniques used by Dr Reza Samvat include: Chiropractic Neurology, Applied Kinesiology and NOT. Dr Reza has taught NOT alongside Dr Simon Carlin and is proficient in all protocols. He is what is known as an integrative chiropractor and specialises in sleep disorders and NOT. Dr Reza will be facilitating the pracs in Robina, Queensland.

DR ANNALEE KITAY D.C.

Dr Annalee Kitay received her degree from New York Chiropractic College and studied with Dr Carl Ferreri in 1989. She was personally certified by Dr Ferreri and continued to study with him throughout the years until his death in 2007. Dr Kitay also worked with Dr Robert Atkins at his Center for Complementary Medicine in New York City, as well as did a pilot study on Traumatic Brain Injured patients with the Kessler Institute in West Orange, New Jersey. Dr Kitay is licensed in Florida, New Jersey, and New York in the USA. She sees patients in Boca Raton, Florida and has a satellite office in Whippany, New Jersey.

DR LANA BRIDGES B SCI M (CHIRO)

Dr Lana Bridges received her Bachelor of Science degree (Anatomy) from the University of NSW, followed by her Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University. She moved to Perth with her husband in 2004. Dr Bridges has accumulated 18 years of clinical experience and has undergone extensive training in NOT, Activator, SOT and AK.  Dr Bridges attained NOT Module 1 Instructor Certification and will teach in NSW after relocating there in July 2019. Dr Bridges is a member of the Australian Chiropractor’s Association (ACA), NOT Global, the College of Chiropractic Paediatrics (CCP) and the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association (ICPA).
